Further
to an earlier post about spinning black holes,
it appears that the
blackhole in our own glalaxy is more massive that previously thought
(between 3.2 million and 4 million solar masses) and is rotating at an
incredible rate , once every 11 minutes or at about 30% of the speed of
light.
And, yes, frame dragging seems to be involved as well, distorting
the space-time around it in a way enabling matter to orbit it at far
higher speeds than would normally be expected. [link]
